Looking for a fun activity this weekend...in cooler climes?
Check out Piping Rock Horses in Truckee for private trail rides! I was out there earlier this week and the temperature was 20 degrees cooler. It even rained on us a bit but really the weather was perfect.
I took a private trail ride through the stunningly gorgeous Tahoe National Forest. I was paired with one of their gentle horses because honestly, I am a bit afraid of horses. 😬

They also offer summer camps for kids. If you're lucky, your kid will have my daughter as their camp leader! (And she is not afraid of horses, they are some of her best friends 😁)
