About the Photographer

I’m Glynns Thomas, a professional photographer based in the greater Sacramento area. As a seasoned photographer specializing in headshots and brand marketing photography, I work with companies to help their teams and company look their professional best -- all in a welcoming and comfortable environment. I’m passionate about capturing photos that showcase the professionalism, approachability, and expertise that you and your team bring to each client and project.

I studied photography throughout my life while pursuing a successful career in advertising. My career trajectory changed when in 2017 I was offered a job taking professional headshots for 70 team members at Toyota’s San Francisco Regional Headquarters. I was hooked and decided to pursue it full-time. I refer to this business as my "passion career".

My experience as a corporate-marketer-turned-photographer has given me a unique perspective into what makes a great professional photo that connects with people. Taking a consultative people-first approach, I help teams feel at ease so that they look like the best version of themselves and come away with a photo they’re proud to use in their professional networks. And I create marketing images that create desire and motivate prospects to buy. The biggest compliments I receive are when clients tell me their teams love their headshots and that they feel more confident both professionally and personally. Or that their marketing images have resulted in an increase in sales.

When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling with my family (we've lived in India and Dubai), hiking, navigating life with two teenagers, and paddleboarding at our favorite local lakes with our rescue dog.
